Bohr, Tisha

Tisha Bohr is a graduate student in the Bhalla lab at the University of California Santa Cruz in the Department of Molecular, Cellular & Developmental Biology. Her research focuses on chromosome dynamics during cellular division in order to identify and understand mechanisms that prevent the production of cells with the incorrect number of chromosomes. She is predominantly interested in a career that involves teaching and research. Therefore, Tisha is interested in using the PDP to advance her skills in inquiry-based and active learning curriculum design in order to further develop her skills as a STEM educator and research mentor.
